Be Strong Project has launched another employability skills program, which is aimed at ex-offenders, ex homeless and ex-addicts. The beneficiaries of this program have successfully graduated through our rehabilitation program and have been victorious in abstaining from the use of drugs, alcohol and prescription drugs for a prolonged period of time.
The men who are running this new enterprise will have conquered some of life’s biggest challenges, they have also preserved under some of the most immense pressure, even whilst they were so vulnerable but they stayed strong & persevered.
This is why I have called the new social enterprise; ROUGH DIAMONDS – a diamond is created by enormous amounts of electricity and can only be created in an environment where the temperature and pressured conditions are necessary to grow diamonds. Many of the diamonds made today are created in laboratories and coal is used to create the enormous amounts of electricity.
The Be Strong lads were crushed, they struggled under great pressure, they fought for their lives in the pressure cooker of Be Strong.
However, they are now no longer living and thinking like victims but as victors. They are no longer striving for victory but they operate from victory and they deserve to live their lives happy, feeling valued, respected and we all should honour them and be proud of their accomplishments. This is what we will be doing;
All of our residential & commercial customers will receive a first class service from their local homeless charity but they will also be investing into an already successful Social Entertaining; with an established track record of rehabilitating some of societies most vulnerable people. Their custom will allow us to remain sustainable in the community and the process will make life so much easier with a one payment, one service provider, one stop service and Fred, Bob, Harry, George etc will no longer have the need to bang on the door each Friday night whilst you’re tucking into your tea, watching a movie with the family, etc
